We wanted to find new and different ways to engage with Idahoans nearing the medicare enrollment age and get the conversation going. What better way than to invite them for coffee and an informal chat with this coffee truck parked outside of a demographically feasible spot. In addition, an overall look and feel/tonal direction was explored, along with direct mail, social and another, loftier marketing method.

American Express offers world-class Charge and Credit Cards, Gift Cards, Rewards, Travel, and more. Always with a high-end look and feel, these direct mail pieces and emails offer a sample of work created for the brand, one of which won a Marcom award.

Inspire is a relatively new energy brand with a new, enthusiastic team. We were tasked with helping the team get excited about a new brand launch/sales goal over a Zoom meeting during Covid- so a fun package idea exploration was in order.

Focusing on the power of the number 10, (their new sales goal) coupled with the new rose brand color, it was easy to create a cool package idea for the meeting. Elements included inspiring (pun intended) ways to “walk the walk” in numbers of 10, and environmentally-friendly items like metal straws and bee-wax wrap, with of course, rose-colored glasses to see the future with.

AT&T, a blue-chip tech company, is continually growing and launching new products. This requires continual and innovative creative exploration and strategic solutions. Our task— finding original ways to draw in new consumers and keep existing ones loyal, while working within a well-established set of brand guidelines.

Examples from a recent pitch included a high-end direct mail piece which included several elements - a very tactile piece with transparencies, special varnishes and grommet fastener, a pop-up box, plus traditional, best-practices direct mail elements.

The Pedigree Adoption Drive started out as a way for Pedigree to bring awareness to the heartbreaking plight of shelter dogs. With each purchase of a Pedigree product, the company would donate to the cause. The idea was to engage Pedigree customers–already dog lovers–to support the initiative, engage more fully with the brand and ultimately help dogs. The Pedigree Adoption Drive is now a global initiative activated in 27 countries and the Pedigree Adoption Foundation donates millions of dollars to shelter dogs in need.

Spec work for Venice Art Walk —outdoor concept illustrating how two worlds come together in a mashup, resulting in art and a lifestyle found nowhere else on Earth.

My partner and I were hand-picked by Lee Clow to work on Apple, and my tenure on the account was a true thrill. The team was made of some of the brightest, hardest working people I've ever met, and the long hours we put in were some of the best I've ever spent.

In three years, Generation Z — those born between 1990 and 1999 — will make up more than 20 percent of the workforce. This 360 campaign revolved around a white paper which discussed recruiting, retaining and getting the best out of this generation's professionals.

I was lucky enough to do a lot of traveling most recently, to Eastern Europe and Australia, with a few US trips as well. I enjoy experiencing new things and capturing what I see along the way.

Design exploration for Rubin Postaer and Associates

Fresh and Easy grocery stores had efficiency down to a science. Fresh, convenient food at low prices. Easy, no frills quality. People loved the store and were brand-loyal, only considered the store for impulse buys, and not for regular grocery shopping. We were tasked with increasing the average store purchase– and had a very small budget to work with.

Our solution? Do more "advertising" in-store as well as out in the world. Develop a voice for Fresh and Easy- fun and helpful -encouraging people make playful, creative connections in-store to ultimately buy more merchandise as well as reinforcing brand values to encourage repeat business. Maximize inexpensive media - billboards and bus shelters- to maximize brand awareness and reinforce the timely idea that "cheap is chic." 

This campaign hit the sweet spot, creating a 7% increase in overall sales per trip.

Photoshop comps created as part of a visual exploration. Project entailed identifying different ways to represent WiFi and connectivity with the new Fiber product. 

Lexus automobiles are filled with unexpected and luxurious features that simply are not found in other cars.

This project entailed bringing that message out into the world in a fun way and also getting people into the showrooms.

We placed unexpected pleasant surprises out into the world: a flurry of beautiful butterflies or fireworks in a page takeover, or all good news for a change. A bus shelter filled with lovely imagery on the inside, unexpected music on a street corner improving your morning commute. A suite of TV spots, all paying off the line, “A sudden, overwhelming moment of joy. It’s the feeling you get as a Lexus owner.”

Ritz-Carlton has always been known as a top-tier luxury hotel, but their main consumer was "graying". Our task was to bring in a younger audience, a generation whom, as our research found, prizes unique experiences over a traditional luxury vacations. Our solution? A series of ads showcasing dream-like experiences, all curated and made possible for you by Ritz-Carlton. "It's our pleasure."

Robert Half partnered with the Economist to create a Career City Index, which offers a comprehensive overview of the top 25 cities in the United States, based on 25 diverse indicators that measure and influence career choices. 

Campaign included a website, an infographic, a white paper and online quizzes.

This 360 campaign exploration used site-specific media to illustrate that Protiviti is always thinking several steps ahead, helping businesses stay competitive and thrive in a 24-hour, 7-day a week global environment.

Founded in 1948, Robert Half, the world's first and largest specialized staffing firm, is a member of the S&P 500 index. The company places professionals on a project and full-time basis in the fields of accounting and finance, technology, office administration, legal support and creative services.

Major redesign of all agency collateral across 7 lines of business within an extremely ambitious timeline. Each suite contained website, mobile, one-sheets and brochures.

Included art directing photoshoot where we captured 1500 new proprietary images on a shoestring budget.

Part of working on the Lexus account included coming up with interesting 360 campaigns that would drive potential new clients into the dealership and also rewarding existing clients.  As a Lexus owner, you belong to an exclusive "club" where you are always treated like a VIP. This event idea brought this to life within the dealership, where the guests were feted at every turn.

This campaign was probably one of the most satisfying, interesting, and rewarding of my career. After 9/11, the country desperately needed to feel better. We needed a reason to believe. The Ad Council approached TBWA Chiat/Day, asking us to create a campaign that would do just that.

We approached it by celebrating all of the things that make our country great- freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and, to steal a line from Devo, freedom of choice. We are a country built on doing things our own way. Our collective story is rich, poignant, and uplifting–one we can all relate to and feel good about. In fact, the "Hope and a Violin" story is that of my great, great grandfather. And, we won a lot of great awards for this campaign. How cool is that?
